Daily Activity [English Ver.] 060318
We repeated the same thing as yesterday, just like we made a line up in front of the kitchen at 8 in the morning. The supervisor called the roll and we put our belongings in the locker room. We made a line up again in front of the cool kitchen and pray together to start as a morning routine before the supervisor gave us a review of yesterday’s activity. Later, he gave directions for Group 2 to start cooking the menu Rotasi 1.4 as what they already prepared yesterday. And, Group 1 was out to continue working on Food Commodity Project.
Before I went out, I asked for permission to the supervisor to go to the nearby ATM. I meant to ask Ainul to go out with me, but she didn’t answer me when I called her name. I walked approaching her and I found out she was crying uncontrollably. It got me questioning what happened with her, and then she told me that her father was in the hospital and she had to go home in Palopo. I must say she needed to get permission and I went with her after we got something in her boardinghouse. An hour after I gave her a lift, she texted me that her father was passed away. I was shocked by hearing the news, so I texted her back right away that I felt really sorry. I didn’t forget to tell our supervisor and Mr. Jaya about it.
At 11.30, Group 1 came in the kitchen and made a line up. The supervisor divided us into several groups for tomorrow’s menu Rotasi 1.1. I was in a group 3 and we got appetizer menu which was Chicken Salad Hawaiian. We had a preparation afterward, and I got a coupon to have a Table Manner in Rinjani Restaurant. I did preparation quickly and went to the restaurant right away. I got back to the kitchen at 14.30 and made a line up in front of the cool kitchen before we were taking a break and having lunch for about 30 minutes. We made a line up again and the supervisor showed us how to make French Dressing Sauce and lots of things we never learned before. Surprisingly we got punishment to eat garlic since the pastry group was failed in making the first dough of French Bread. Exactly at 18.00 in the evening, we had general cleaning and we made a line up at 19.30. And, today’s activities was closed by several explanation from Mr. Ical and we were ready to go home.
