Daily Activity 3 September 2019

Hello! I hope you didn’t get bored because I’m gonna share again all of my activities in the kitchen that I do as usual. Today, we made bakpia again. Previously our bakpia was okay, but not really good because the lower part was too tough meanwhile the upper past was too brittle. Mr. Ical wanted the bakpia to be tough on the upper part and had brittle texture for the lower part.
Thus, today we made bakpia again.  But before we started, Mr. Ical elaborated anything about bakpia and puff pastry. Afterwards, we started to practice it. Our group made the bakpia first. I got the task to make the bakpia dough, and Nata made the fillings. Once the dough was ready, we stuffed the bakpia. We heated the oven, and started to bake the bakpia.
Once we were done, we continued our task to make raisin scones. After watching the ingredients that we needed and how to make it, Nata weighed the ingredients and Koko mixed all the ingredients. The moment the dough was ready, we rested it in the chiller for 30 minutes. And then we shaped and baked it. But eventually our bakpia and raisin scones weren’t that good enough, so tomorrow we had to make it again.
