Hello, guys! As usual, I’m gonna tell you my practice day in the kitchen. Today, we learnt how make lapis legit. You must be wondering, what is lapis legit? Lapis legit is one of traditional cake that is developed during colonial times. Lapis legit is also known as a thousand layer cake. I never make lapis legit before. Practically, this cake is costly, and it needs a lot time to make it because we need to be patient to make every layer. The dough is pretty easy to make, but the salamander process truly spends a lot of effort. Furthermore, we have to make queue because we only have one salamander in this kitchen.

At the same time I weighed the ingredients, I also mixed all the things up until it was ready to be used. Afterwards, Koko and Nata took turn to salamander the dough. Once in a while I helped them to pour the dough in the pan, and we repeated the salamander step until the dough was used up. And then we baked it for 15 minutes.
