Daily Activity [English Ver.] 220218
We do the same thing day by day, as today we made a line up in front of the kitchen at 8.00 in the morning. As usual, our supervisor called the roll first before we were all entering the cool kitchen and making a one line. Yet we did not forget to pray to the almighty and discuss what we needed to do today. Today, we prepared rotation menu just like what I mentioned yesterday. It was Indonesian Food which consist of appetizer (Sambal Ulang Ulang), soup (Sop Kacang Merah), main course (Bebek Menyatnyat, rice, Sambal Matah, Plecing Kangkung), and dessert (Bika Ambon).
This brought me back to the yesterday when my group was failed in making the dessert (Bika Ambon) where there was one product which not good enough. So, we had to remake it again. Our supervisor told us to make preparation and start working on our task. We walked directly to the pastry to have a preparation. Afterwards, Nabila and I prepared the Bika Ambon ingredients. We were all starting to make it with the our supervisor. When the dough was ready and needed some proofing, I decided to take a break for a while and my senior gave me a coupon for breakfast in Restaurant Rinjani.
When I came back, the Bika Ambon dough had been baked and just needed some minutes until it was done. Our supervisor called us to take a look the final result of Bika Ambon. After slicing the Bika Ambon, with Kak Aldy (supervisor) and Nabila, we were plating the dessert. Exactly at 01.00 pm, slowly, our rotation menus were ready to serve. After we done it, we were allowed to have a lunch and came back to the kitchen afterwards. As always, we made a one line in front of the kitchen until Mr. Ical was coming in and giving us some explanation. We continued to have a general cleaning and we were all ready to go home after that.
