Daily Activity 4-4 (Ala Carte 1)
Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.
You guys have always been knowing the content of my blog, and I hope you guys wouldn’t get
bored with all the daily practices that I do in the Poltekpar Kitchen. At 7.30,
I was already in the kitchen but I think it was quite late because we allowed
to enter the kitchen at 8.20. And I made sure that my grooming was good enough.
Once I put all my belongings in the locker room, I joined the others oneline in
front of the kitchen. Mr. Ical came into the kitchen and gave us instructor
what we needed to do, and he asked us, the Pastry section to clean up our work area
again.
Once it was done, we got back to the
pastry to make some desserts; Sachertorte and Rice Pudding were ready so that
we only needed to finish the platting part. But we had recook Bubuh Injin.
Luckily, our supervisor, Kak Novi helped us a lot. Thank you so much, Kak Novi.
At 11.30, all the desserts were ready to be plating, but as usual I had to make
the Chocolate Ganache and Chocolate Glaze, and poured it on top of the cake.
At 12, we had a break and we went to the
nearest mosque to have a prayer. After that, we got back to the kitchen and
doing what we needed to do. Kak Novi showed us how to platting well. Nata,
Yandy, and I tried to do it, and I couldn’t be more happier because mine was
good. At 1.30 pm, the open resto hadn’t started yet, and it angered our boss
genk. At first, our boss told us to make all the menus included appetizer, main
course, and dessert. Once we put all the foods in abu ayer, we cleaned our work areas, and had a prayer together. We
got back to the kitchen and had a lunch together, that’s we call Anak Bangsa.
After lunch, we took a break for a while and we finished the day with a general
cleaning.
