Daily Activity 7-3 (Ala Carte 2)

Hellooo genk!!! Lets get to the story. So, today I got to the kitchen a bit late. I quickly wore my apron and carpus. Once I came into the kitchen, I was ordered to make coffee for all the lecturers in the office kitchen. After that, I cleaned my work area and joined the other oneline in front of the kitchen.

Yup! Two days ago we already prepared all the ingredients (yesterday was a day off) after having a prayer and instructions from our boss genk, Mr. Ical, we quickly went to our own sections. Turned out, the red velvet sponge we made yesterday was too thin, so we had to recook it again. Maya had prepared the ingredients we needed, and I helped her to make the sponge dough. Once we baked it, it turned out to be perfect. Time went fast, two hours before the open resto, I made the cream cheese for the red velvet layers.

First of all, I mixed the whip cream until it was stiff enough. I also mixed the cream cheese until it was soft enough. And the last, I mixed the whip cream and the cream cheese until it was perfectly blended. I gave this cream cheese to Maya. At 11, we started to plating. Once we finished, the girls went to the  nearest mosque for having a prayer together. Afterwards, we went to the restaurant and had a table manner there until 2 in the afternoon. I came back to the kitchen and conducted general cleaning in pastry section.
