Daily Activity 6-4 (Ala Carte 1)
Hello, my colleagues, my fellow friends,
guys, okay whatsoever it is. It’s me again, Andi Sally. As you used to know
about what I’m gonna tell you in the Poltekpar Kitchen, we were already
entering the fourth day on the sixth week of this third semester. So, I came
back to the Main Kitchen to make Ala Carte menu. At 7.30 in the morning I already
arrived at the campus, but actually I was a little bit late because Makassar
was raining in the morning. Believe me, that was quite unpleasant to start the
day. I quickly wore my carpus and apron once I got there, got into the kitchen,
and put all my belongings in the locker room.
I went to the Main Kitchen and oneline as I was waiting for the others.
As always, we started the day with a prayer, hoping that today’s activity goes
well. Afterwards, our supervisor called out our names, and Mr. Ical was
entering the kitchen as he was in charge today. At 9.30 we started to cook, and
open resto began at 11 am. Just like yesterday, I had to make Duchesse Potato
and Colcannon once again because the Duchesse Potato that had been prepared by
Diny was not enough, so had to add some more. I finished the dough at 10.30,
and Duchesse Potatoes were ready to be baked.
Open resto was began at 11.30, and all
of us should be ready on our own sections. The open resto lasted for two hours
and because God’s grace, the open resto went well. Once the event was finished,
we cleaned up our work areas immediately. We had general cleaning, afterwards.
And 3.30 in the afternoon, we took a break and had a prayer together. We also
had our super late lunch together. Once we finished, we came back and conducted
general cleaning.
